Sankaku Channel/spice and wolf

A series of light novels, later adapted into a manga (illustrations by Koume Keito) and then an anime series.

The story details the life and journeys of Craft Lawrence, a traveling peddler, and a pagan wolf deity named Horo who has taken the form of a young human woman.
