Natalia Vladimirovna Poklonskaya is the Chief Prosecutor of the Republic of Crimea, an autonomous republic within the Russian Federation. She was appointed to the position by the region's predecessor government, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (then part of Ukraine), on 11 March 2014.

After a press conference of hers was posted by a Japanese user to YouTube, the video went viral, with numerous viewers entranced by her attractiveness. This resulted in a large amount of fan art of Poklonskaya being created by netizens worldwide.
