Sankaku Channel/knees

The front or side of one or both knees, with some definition of the kneecap or nearby muscles and tendons.

Does not need to appear muscular. The knees can be bare or tightly clothed. The legs can be in almost any position. The kneecap and tendons are especially visible when the leg is straight. The muscles around the knee are especially visible when leg is straight or when the knee is mostly bent so the calf is pressed against the back of the thigh.

The tag knee_pit might also be used.

Muscular knees would be combination of muscular_thighs, muscular_shins or muscular_calves.
