Sankaku Channel/hime cut

The Hime cut (lit. Princess cut) is a hairstyle that involves long hair and a fringe covering the front. Often the hair is long and straightened. Famous users include Mio Akiyama, Enma Ai, and Kikyou.

Blunt Bangs

A hairstyle where the hair is straight, and the bangs are combed forward and cut in a uniform horizontal line across the forehead.

When the sidelocks are cut parallel to - but lower than - the bangs, and the rest of the hair is kept long, it becomes a type of hime cut.
