Definition

Breast expansion, often abbreviated BE, describes an increase in size of a character's breasts. Contrast alternate_breast_size.

Mechanisms

The driving force of this increase in size varies.

Real

The most common, real-life example is during pregnancy. Certain drugs may also cause swelling of the breasts temporarily, and plastic surgery is used to permanently change the size and shape of the breasts.

Fictional

BE is more generally associated with entirely fictional means, including magic, drugs, or transformation.

Associated Themes

Breast Expansion can be either forced, accidental or consensual; based on the circumstance it may be associated with different things.

Forced

BE may have connotations of bimbofication, or be a precursor to forced lactation and the victim's enslavement as human_livestock. Demonic corruption often involves the character's breasts growing to huge proportions, symbolic of overflowing sexuality.

Accidental

Breast expansion is sometimes the accidental result of a failed magic spell or lab experiment.

Consensual

Some characters may willingly seek out or submit themselves to BE in similar forms to that forced on others. Shapeshifters like kitsune, succubi, goo girls, ghosts and other mutable or illusory creatures may be able to change the size of their own breasts at will.
