Sankaku Channel/binding discoloration

A scanning artifact introduced when the binding of a book, magazine, or other such publication raises the edge of a page off the scanning surface of the scanner, causing the raised part of the image to reflect light differently and resulting in a shift of color in the raised part of the resulting image.
