Normally not very fond of Marvel related fan art, but this is gorgeous. The brushed nitinol adds a lot to the look.

Yeah, I agree.

Not to restart the conversation, but Deviant Art was a community orient site from the onset, and was designed to be a social network as much as (if not more than) an image board to merge the genres. To say that they are alike is to belittle the impact of that fusion has on the users who provide for the site its entire content base and dismiss the obvious demand for the existence of the website before such a thing existed.

Deviant Art's creator interviews can be a little droning, but they have interesting bits pertaining to the origin and initial purpose of the website if you can sit through them. Shifting through the evolution of the internet can be quite a journey, if you have the patience for it.

Sankaku, though adulterated, does not deserve to be debased to the level that DeviantArt has chosen to be, however.

My only argument is on austhetics again. You got a great spirit there, Keir, but you have a very "fight me!" approach to everything and you don't always word things in ways that make your points effective. I don't have much of a problem with any point you've tried to make, I'm just trying to encourage you to make your points in ways that don't escalate into +20 comment arguments, yeah? That's all.

All I want ya to do is search a little harder for the words ya wanna say, and rely a little less on the emotion behind the words to carry the meaning that you're trying to get across. Emotion and thought is not visible through the internet, words are. You have to find ways to work better with what you're presented with if or you're not going to carry that meaning over to the reader in a way that is effective or aesthetically pleasing.

And moreover, that "fight me" attitude... you'd have to pardon me to say this, but I think you're often misguided in it a lot. Not in the sense that you've really thrown your thrown your words behind something I think is wrong (Indeed, I should reiterate that I have no problem with any stance you've taken) it's just that you take things too far with it. Your initial response to anything is to start a fight, when really... --c'mon, this is common sense here-- ...you really, really ought'a be finding a way to end the fight, right? And the only way to stop a situation from escalating is to be calm about it.

You gotta be calm, ya gotta be cool. If you wanna win, the most important thing to be, is nice. Find a complement or two, start from their viewpoint, find something you have common ground on, explain to them what you think in a way that makes sense to them. It's a puzzle, to be sure, but with enough time you can make it work on just about anybody; and that will help you to actually win, as opposed to just fight.

I-I'm glad I haven't made ya too cross with me yet! I always hate being someone's enemy... it always starts off pretty fun, but they expect me to present them some sorta challenge as midboss and I kinda like breeding creatures to fight them, but there's always so many that I have to do... usually I have to make clones just to make more clones and then the power structure starts to get all out of whack right when things start to get awkwardly sexual with the damsel we've captured a-and I'd really love to reciprocate some of her affection but vaginas are weird so... s-so it's a tiresome venture, to be sure.

It's becoming apparent that this discussion is going nowhere now. What Keir Tanaka does outside of this website is of his/her business. There is absolutely no need to disrespect another person's fandom. Have some respect.

Lastly, my final point is to Keir Tanaka: your posts are too long, and they're not charming to read; which is why we don't say anything about it to Jakuryusei. Consider this: keep your posts simple and concise.
