Not SO much to do with race as it does skin color so primarily when 2 characters' bodily colors are either precisely opposite or complementary opposite each other!

Precisely opposite would be if tha 1st character has bright-light skin & light-blonde hair and the 2nd character has pitch-dark skin & dark-brunette hair(not precisely those colors but in that ball-park)a secondary layer to top it all off would be if the 1st character has light-blue eyes and the 2nd has dark blue eyes!
ALSO
Complementary opposite would be if tha 1st character has bright-light skin & dark-brunette hair and the 2nd character has pitch-dark skin & light-blonde hair(not exactly those colors but in that ball-park)a secondary layer to top it all off would be if the 1st character has dark-blue eyes and the 2nd has light-blue eyes!
