cross-eyed stereogram »
A 3D effect achieved by duplicating an image and putting the two images side by side.
To view the 3D effect, the viewer needs to cross their eyes until the two images line up to make a third image in between them, which should appear 3D.
This can be used to make any 2D image appear 3D, but with varying effectiveness.
