animal ears »

Containing characters of a certain appearance popularly known by the Japanese as "Kemonomimi", which more or less translates to "animal ears". Such characters appear almost entirely human, but have the ears, usually the tail, and sometimes the paws or nose of a specific animal (i.e. a fox Kemonomimi would have vulpine ears).

Kemonomimi characters are generally considered not furry, but the style is seeing wider acceptance today in the furry fandom.
