Then there might be something wrong with your arm. Try laying down. You should be able to do that.

Yup, my knuckles touch right up against the top edge of my humerus right before it ducks back to join with my clavicle and acromion exactly as shown here. It's not exactly a comfortable pose, but then... she doesn't really seem to be in an ideal resting posture overall!

But then, using my body as an example might not be the best idea. I've managed to hit myself in the solar plexus with my own elbow before. I-I don't... I don't even know how that's a thing.

Can't do it either. Flexor digitorum & bicep are in the way (~ ¬‿¬)~
