5 months agoHello!
There is an undocumented feature in the tag edit form that I'm looking to clarify: the parent and child fields. The function of these fields, in addition to being unexplained in the wiki, is unclear throughout its use, as well as on the surface.
Through a deeper look, I've observed that what these tag edit fields do is to publish parent/child information to the tag's wiki page. As ALAKTORN and I have discussed in another thread, this category of information has an unclear purpose. For example, Is this parent/child information supposed to reflect the tag's implications? Because if so, these parent/child fields could be eliminated entirely by instead pulling implication info automatically from the database.
EDIT: What is the real purpose of the parent/child sections in a tag's wiki page, and of needing to edit them from the tag edit form? Is this feature worth keeping as is? If so, how should it be documented?
