there is too much duplicate post being posted can somebody take care of it am tired of parenting duplicating each one

If there are moderate differences in anything but compression quality and EXIF data then we allow them as legitimate variations - if not we are trying to reduce their incidence.

who is in charge of getting duplicate's delete?

Mods will do it. You can flag the image if you are sure it is an undesirable duplicate, though in many cases our guidelines allow them.

how do people become mods i know I and other user that keeps looking for duplicate how do we become mods?

You've been upgraded to contributor status, the first step to becoming a mod - thanks for all your edits!

Thank you very much!

Is it here where I should request the adding of a “Back to forum index” link at the bottom of topics? Putting it above the “Respond” button would be best, so it doesn’t get affected by the JS.

OK, we'll see about adding something.

A generic footer for all pages with a standardised set of links (to top, to index, to /, or perhaps even the standard navbar footer again) might be best.

Hm... If I may... I do believe people should be allowed to Post HTML here.

If not big things, then basic HTML, for instance.

<font face="calibri" size="12" color="#ffccff">Sup there!</font>
This would make it say "Sup there!" in pink, size 12 and in calibri.

Only I take it a step forward by fading my HTML.

HTML = Hyper Test Markup Langauqe, for those who don't know.

If this is possible, I'd like to see it happen.

Not a fan of this BBcode. I'm used to <b></b>

There is basic formatting available - see the "reference" panel.

We plan to add further options once forum activity increases.

Can you undelete this post? It is not a double.

Can somebody work on deleting flag post.

Moderators are working through them.

You can message one if it is an urgent concern.

This got deleted for "duplicate" but it's actually not a duplicate.

Looks like the wrong one got deleted… Undeleted and deleted the one that was put as parent.

(Not sure there’s a way to find it– I mean this Post #3444472.)

Edit: I’ve been made aware that it was actually wrongly deleted, both posts have been restored.

User HENTAFAN is earsing parent and child links to his images won't be deleted
chan.sankakucomplex.com/post_tag_history/index?post_id=3528234

I think he only did that once?

In any case, investigating what is going on, thanks.

Found other one
chan.sankakucomplex.com/post_tag_history/index?post_id=3527696

chan.sankakucomplex.com/post_tag_history/index?post_id=3526785

There was also this. http://chan.sankakucomplex.com/post/show/3524662
And these two. http://chan.sankakucomplex.com/post/show/3507276 /// http://chan.sankakucomplex.com/post/show/3507275 for which it seems like he somehow lowered the quality of the pic in its first upload, so uploaded it again.

All of these I think were from one specific artist who uses both Twitter and Pixiv (onsoku_maru) (edit: nvm only the latest few were his), and he has been uploading the Twitter pics while we already had the Pixiv ones; which I think is pretty pointless because the only difference is that the Twitter pics are of lower quality.

I deleted the ones posted, there may be more.

And I just noticed, that artist’s Pixiv name is actually Onsoku Inu (音速犬), so idk if it should be changed or what.

I thought he was basically uploading Twitter pics which were later supplanted by better quality versions. So whilst a little inconvenient that in itself is innocent enough.

I did want to check whether some of his other dupes were showing in find similar at the time of upload...

In any case, thank you for the oversight.

Can you run a batch command and mark all posts tagged with "uncensored vaginal" as "explicit?"

Would save several thousand manual tags.

Done, with some likely extras.

start:uncensored vaginal -rating:e result:uncensored vaginal rating:e

start:vagina uncensored -rating:e result:vagina uncensored rating:e

start:semen uncensored -rating:e result:semen uncensored rating:e

start:anus uncensored -rating:e result:anus uncensored rating:e

start:penis uncensored -rating:e result:penis uncensored rating:e

start:nakadashi -rating:e result:nakadashi rating:e

start:ejaculation uncensored -rating:e result:ejaculation uncensored rating:e

start:oral uncensored -rating:e result:oral uncensored rating:e

start:facial uncensored -rating:e result:facial uncensored rating:e

start:dripping_semen -rating:e result:dripping_semen rating:e

start:double_penetration -rating:e result:double_penetration rating:e

start:triple_penetration -rating:e result:triple_penetration rating:e

start:sex uncensored -rating:e result:sex uncensored rating:e

start:anal uncensored -rating:e result:anal uncensored rating:e

start:vagina censored -rating:e result:vagina censored rating:e

start:sex censored -rating:e result:sex censored rating:e

start:oral censored -rating:e result:oral censored rating:e

[etc]

That should be enough to be getting on with unless anyone notices any other big clusters they want rated.

If someone wants to identify, advise and warn persistent misraters by all means.

Thanks! I was going through those manually...

Is there a faster way to do tagging?

Every time I want to tag an image I click on it, which downloads the whole image from your server, then I edit the tags for that specific picture, then send you a POST. Seems like a lot of server load for you and a lot of wasted time for me to be doing it this way, and with millions of images, it's not really making a dent.

For example, I just did "brown hair -brown_hair" and came up with hundreds of images missing the "brown_hair" tag. If I could select all the thumbnails that clearly contain brown hair, then send you a single POST message to apply "brown_hair" to all of them, it would be vastly more efficient.

Edit: example 2: "precum -penis". I'm not sure it should be an implication, but there are certainly a lot which you can tell by the thumbnail alone should be tagged "penis".

You can use the "mode" menu and "tag script" features, they should be accessible from the post index pages and will speed things along.

For very advanced users there is all kinds of stuff possible via the API and so on. Aliases and implications are subject to strict vetting and approval because of their considerable complexity, and mass edits are absurdly easy to get wrong and cause massive tag carnage, and so are and will likely remain highly restricted.

"brown hair -brown_hair" - not sure if follow? The "brown" and "hair" tags do not have any direct relationship to "brown_hair"...

There are usually dangerous edge cases with tags which defy expectations. For example, could "precum" appear without a penis? A tentacle, diagram, in-image text or reference... there are all kinds of cases which make aliases and implications inappropriate and mass edits reckless.

>> You can use the "mode" menu and "tag script" features, they should be accessible from the post index pages and will speed things along.

Thanks, that's the kind of stuff I was looking for. API access would be nice too; I do some scripting. No rush though, I can't even upload yet.

>> "brown hair -brown_hair" - not sure if follow? The "brown" and "hair" tags do not have any direct relationship to "brown_hair"...

Correct. However, if you run that search, you'll find hundreds of mis-tags. The point is, people didn't know to put in an underscore, so they tagged "brown hair" instead of "brown_hair." The same is presumably applicable for "blue eyes" and so on.

>> There are usually dangerous edge cases with tags which defy expectations. For example, could "precum" appear without a penis? A tentacle, diagram, in-image text or reference... there are all kinds of cases which make aliases and implications inappropriate and mass edits reckless.

Exactly. I said,

>I'm not sure it should be an implication, but there are certainly a lot which you can tell by the thumbnail alone should be tagged "penis".

It would be great to scroll the thumbnails and just click each one that should be tagged "penis." Save on server load, save on tagger time... and this is what "tag script" does. Thanks

If you are planning on being an active user you can get a contributor account in short order, although even as a normal user you have a fair amount of API access.

You may find tag scripts do not work well in auto-scrolling pages, I don't recall if that has got attention yet. It should always work OK in paged mode though.

brown_hair... a tag script of "+brown_hair -hair -brown" covers it?

I want my account deleted.

For the time being they can only be disabled and not deleted.
