Sankaku Channel/Why were my posts deleted?

I posted several pieces of XXX toon art, some by me, some by other artists. ALL of my posts were deleted with the comment "Excessively poor quality art". I don't understand how pieces I found on other sites and by artists that are currently on Sankaku could be considered to be of such poor quality. There are even two other pieces of mine that I would consider to be of lesser quality then the ones I posted yesterday and yet those two items are still open. Kind of feel like I have been unfairly targeted for some reason.

Someone had flagged one of your posts. It was awful so I deleted it. I then checked who uploaded it, and looked to see if there were posts of similar quality. Turns out all of them were awful.

In addition there may or may not be a rule stating that you aren't allowed to post your own content here, but that wasn't even taken into consideration.

Shitty art of shitty western shows. Nothing of value was lost.

...The rule about round-a-bout user-created content is factual, however; another user, I believe it was UnluckyMorpheus, recently got a sprite of theirs brought to the Complex via bot--if you make any content that's snagged from another site to be posted here, then that'll solve that issue and you'll get a appropriate artist tag for your work.

Turns out, it's tagged incorrectly as Unlucky_Morpheus. Hmm.

So you are saying that art by recognized artists that I got from other sites and posted here were "awful?" Artists like BADBRAINS, CROC, ODIN3000, and TENZEN!

Well that seems to narrow down the things that I can post to virtually nothing, but you're not unfairly targeting me, so good to know!

Your stuff is being deleted because some petty people who have power on this site, take it upon themselves to judge others material (as if they are 'SO' superior in their opinions and ideas to the exclusion of all else!) https://chan.sankakucomplex.com/forum/show/4472 and if they don't like you they'll find "ANY" excuse to delete you, flag you. insult you, and judge "EVERY" aspect of what you do!!

Please notice that contributors and above were all nominated by system for, you know, their contributions.

I'm just noting that while there are 207 TENZEN posting on this site, the three I posted were considered "Excessively poor quality art" and removed. There are also 67 SLAPPYFROG posting , but the 9 I posted were considered "Excessively poor quality art" and removed. There are 5 ODIN3000 posts but the one I posted was called "Excessively poor quality art" and removed. There are 643 CARTOON REALITY posting here, but the 2 I posted were deemed "Excessively poor quality art" and removed.
One cartoon piece (oppai Loli) I posted was classified as "child porn" and "Inappropriate content" and yet there are over 13000 LOLI posting and over 2100 "LOLI FACE and BIG BOOBS" postings, so.....? All seems a bit uneven handed to me.

Look, I don't mean to be rude, but have you compared the quality between the artists you're posting and the lowest quality Japanese artists here? Tallcat is not blind, let me repeat the statement in a more bold but less respectful fashion.

YES, I have made such comparisons and there are more then a few Japanese works that are positively amateurish in appearance. But of even more relevance is the fact that there are many, many Western style works of much lower quality then the pieces I posted that are currently posted on this site. Tallcat may not be blind, but he is also CLEARLY not a fair or unbiased arbiter of what should be permitted on this site.

If you find more low quality/"western" content please flag it. I didn't seek you out. Like I said before, someone else had flagged your post and I went from there.

Art is subjective. Some believe all art has value. But anyone can draw, and just because one can doesn't mean one should. In addition it doesn't keep you or your work safe from criticism. Galinoa put it best in that nothing of value was lost.

The posts aren't getting undeleted. If you want to help the site out, please flag the very low quality posts. I know you're good at finding them.

Ah, but did you give my postings enough exposure to allow for more then the one complainant to voice an opinion? No, you removed ALL of my postings within 24 hours by your own claim based on the comment of ONE person, and of course your own undoubtedly "expert" opinion. Seems a bit quick for a fair assessment.

I personally looked at the same artists listed on other websites, and I do not oppose the deletion.

The site might benefit from having a clearly defined banned list when it comes to certain categories of art. The problem is you can't just ban Western art because there is a lot of quality stuff from non-Japanese artists.

That being said, I don't think Ilya_Kuvshinov is going to be drawing scat futa of Marge Simpson or Brian Griffin anytime soon.

You can't just ban categories, that goes against the whole purpose of collection and organization--and in the end, there is plenty that goes without proper tags that will slip in anyway because of self-centered uploaders thinking only of their own fetishes and preferences.

Not me.

Again, it's not something you can just up and ban--plenty of talented non-American artists from around the world have work here from those series--it's not as if America is the only country able to access other countries' brodcasts and internet.
Like I said before, if it is brought by a bot and makes it past quality control, then tag it (properly) and (favorite) bag it, but until then don't whine that your fan-favorite didn't make the Complex' cut.

Sure. I agree. This site is supposed to be an aggregate of basically as much art as possible. My only issue is that certain tags tend towards lower quality. And it's almost always Western. But that's just my subjectivity.

It's not an absolute, and there isn't an easy solution to filtering out the real garbage, but this is the best system that currently exists. So I'm good with it.

Got a blacklist of 180 lines over here (want it?). Working pretty well. It's rare when i come across poor western art. But when i do, it's immediately updated.

Yeah I need to work on my blacklist. There's no reason to expose myself to trash.
