Tag groups were just created by copying everything from danbooru. To make sure that no tag group was forgetten a little crawler looked through all the tag groups: http://pastebin.com/4p2t5mJr

To complete this, howto:tag groups needs to be deleted. Since linking every tag group to howto:tag groups would've been inconvenient, tag groups was created.

The next step would be to copy all the lists and description for the tags, but these are semi-important for now.

Nice work. Shouldn't it be "list_of_tag_groups" which holds the main wiki index of tag groups?

Since we are, where possible, trying to maintain a common set of definitions for tags over multiple sites, making heavy usage of the original definitions and tag structures is pretty much unavoidable.

It was tag groups on danbooru, too. It would've been inconveniert, because every tag_group is linked to tag_groups. So if we change it to list_of_tag_groups, we would have to change every link, too.

A minor point - are we consistent in naming colon-pattern articles at present? For example help:_tags vs help:tags? Some seem to have a space and others not, I am wondering about whether that needs tidying up one way of the other (altering the UI links is not an issue).

Personally, I like help:tags better, since it is more consistent with the post-section, where tags like parent:83945 and rating:safe without any spaces are used.

But I would like to see them displayed as "help: tags" with a space after the colon, when displayed in the title of the wiki posts or in the post itself.

I agree it looks a little nicer. Any inconsistency is going to confuse people though... I think we should standardise on (section):(article) with no space for now.

I reverted an edit of the wiki page tag group:nudity. The user who made the edit has been blocked so I am guessing this was vandalism.
