I’m not seeing any edits from him removing parents or the duplicate tag. By the way, users should use duplicate, as potential_duplicate is a bot-only tag. Click that link and read its wiki.

I have no idea what this is even about, but I don’t think translation should matter in the least. The Japanese tag name doesn’t have to be a 1:1 copy of the English one, you can change it if you think it makes more sense that way in Japanese.
