1 year agoThe format is a little tricky which is why there is no direct submission yet, but submitting in this format is the same as the actual edit and will streamline the process:

The search can include metatags which cannot actually be edited. The edit tags must be tags or ratings and the like. To remove a tag, the most common usage, the tag would be in the first edit and simply omitted from the tags to be edited, and it will then be removed.
Example: to remove all incidences of "broken_tag" from Rinfinite's long_hair uploads:
"long_hair user:Rinfinite broken_tag" > "long_hair"
Forgetting long_hair in the second part would delete it from all the posts searched, which is another reason this functionality is tricky. user:Rinfinite would not do anything there and so can be left out.
Perhaps Alaktorn can amend the requested format to take this into account.
