channel's auto paging isn't seem to be working.=_=
auto paging IS NOT working on chan.sankakucomplex.com. But seems to be working on idol.sankakucomplex.com
Should be back to normal now.
Is this where I’m supposed to post now?
Tagging an image as explicit manually (probably the other 2 classifications as well) doesn’t make it show up in the post’s history. (By this I mean writing rating:e instead of clicking the checkbox.) http://chan.sankakucomplex.com/post_tag_history/index?post_id=3422906
“Set avatar” is broken with animated posts. Gave me a white box when I tried.
The rating-via-tag issue you so assiduously identified has been fixed. Tag field edits and form edits should now all be reflected in the history correctly.
The fact that the source history was not yet working properly also came to light at this time and that has been fixed as well.
You are an expert at making broken avatars I see... Animated avatars aren't supported as yet, though I doubt it would give good results if we implemented it (most animated resizers give awful quality and gigantic file sizes). We could disable it on those posts I suppose.
I found a bug, I think: clicking on favorite tags on for example my profile page takes me to "user:RLTM ..." pages. I assume they should actually be linking to "fav:RLTM ..." pages.
That is correct, this has been fixed and will take effect shortly. Thanks!
How do we report advertisement spam in private messages?
I never check out the pools, but I just did. In the pools list there is an entry called "Beautiful Breasts" which links to http://chan.sankakucomplex.com/pool/show/716 . On that page, however, the pool is called "Awkward Breasts". What is going on here?
Spam can be reported to a mod.
The pool has been renamed at some point and the names were being inconsistently applied, so that has been amended.
An "original name" field has been added to the pool edit page to clarify this.
Why is it when I save certain pics to my comp, there is no thumbnail? This problem never happened until around a month ago and this is the only site on the internet where I've encountered such a thing.
Thumbnail issues on your computer should be nothing to do with the site - the original images are entirely untouched. Possibly it is a browser issue.
^^Maybe they weren’t downloaded properly? Try redownloading them.
Ampersands (&) seem to cause problems, when used in tags. If you click "More popular images" at the artist x&x&x, it seems to cut off at the last ampersand and it shows no matching posts.
It is not a huge problem though.
Should be fixed, thank you for the report.
If you look on this image you can see some really messed up stuff stretching across the screen: http://chan.sankakucomplex.com/post/show/926073
"Source: (C79) (同人誌) [Type-G (イシガキタカシ)] 俺とフェイトとワンルーム (魔法少女リリカルなのは)"
I've seen several others with a similar problem as well.
Japanese text encoding issue. Probably isn't any trivial way of automatically fixing these although the underlying issue should have been fixed some time ago.
We can at least prevent the overspill.
Blacklisted tags are still showing up. It will still say 13(or whatever)Hidden but they display anyway. Any easy fixes for this?
i have the same problem. i wanted to hide all "loli" marked content with the tag blacklist, but it doesn't work. images of that content are still visible.
I only checked it with the tag "loli".
anyone has a solution for the blacklist problem?
thanks for any help
Blacklisted images are blurred in browsers which support filters. You most likely are using one which doesn't support it. I know webkit-based browser do support it. Firefox doesn't support it yet, probably IE doesn't either.
In any case, I find it a tad sloppy that a feature that isn't fully supported by all browsers yet is used to mark blacklisted images.
The blur filters used are supported by all modern browsers it would seem:
.blacklisted {filter:blur(5px);-webkit-filter:blur(5px);-moz-filter:blur(5px);-o-filter:blur(5px);-ms-filter:blur(5px);}
I suppose we could try to do this in JS as well.
hello!
thanks for the reply!
I use Firefox, but until today it worked without problems to filter tags.
im just wondering why it is different now.
i logged in using Google Chrome and it worked to blacklist. As you said its a blur filter.
But i hope, its possible to make it the way it was before.
and on firefox, too.
some pictures i dont even want to see blurred out. Its better when they are completely hidden.
you have a solution for this?
Which version of FF are you using?
The old behaviour of completely hiding the images introduced layout problems. Using "blacklisted" image placeholders or an alternative masking effect might be something we need to consider.
my firefox version is 23.0.1
blacklisted image placeholders sounds very good.
its only important that the images are not visible for all who dont want to see them.
I'm not sure why it isn't working for you, the moz-* blur should be OK. Are you seeing blurred images on the first page of results? That subsequent pages of autopaged results do not apply the blacklist is an issue we're fixing at present.
We're looking at better blur support, a mosaic effect or less ugly placeholders, a fix should not take too long.
when zooming in on my android phone, well looking though pictures the tags list moves to the middle of the screen and if i touch any where it chooses a tag
What resolution is your phone browser operating at? I'm assuming this only happens when you zoom in?
thanks for your quick answers.
i see blurred images when i use the browser google chrome.
with firefox the blacklisted images are not blurred and visible.
do other people have the same problems?
a placeholder would be perfect, but blurred is better than visible.
i still need a solution for firefox..

.blacklisted {filter:blur(5px);-webkit-filter:blur(5px);-moz-filter:blur(5px);-o-filter:blur(5px);-ms-filter:blur(5px);}
I suppose we could try to do this in JS as well.
Unfortunately only webkit-based browsers support CSS filters:
http://caniuse.com/#feat=css-filters
Also note that any JS-based methods require the images to be CORS-enabled, assuming the implementations use the HTML canvas element:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/HTML/CORS_Enabled_Image?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=CORS_Enabled_Image

That was of course the first thing I tried but it doesn't work.
p.s. In case browser is related to the issue: I use Firefox.

Aren't the preview versions generated by the site?
